Given:

The length of a rectangular prism is 8 inches.

The breadth of a rectangular prism is 7 inches.

The height of a rectangular prism is 16 inches.

Yul fills the bird feeder to three-fourths of its capacity.

To find the amount of food that he filled:

Using the volume formula of cuboids,

\begin{gathered} V=l* b* h \\ =8*7*16 \\ =896in^3 \end{gathered}

So, the three fourth of the volume is,

\begin{gathered} (3)/(4)V=(3)/(4)(896) \\ =3*224 \\ =672in^3 \end{gathered}

But, he said that he used 896 square inches.

So, it is wrong.

The correct one is, he used 672 cubic inches of food to fill the bird feeder.
