Combining like terms with negative coefficients

−5j+(−2j)+3

So to combine like terms, add -5j and -2j. This equals -7j. Your answer would be -7j+3. You can't simplify or combine like terms more than that.

Combine the terms with j, so -7j+3 would be left.
