In order to answer this, you can use this formula :

F = m.a
which means
a = F/m
a = 18N / 2kg
a = 9 N/kg or 9m/s2

hope this helps

Answer:

Acceleration due to gravity,
g=9\ m/s^2

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

Mass of the suitcase, m = 2 kg

Weight on a particular planet, W = 18 N

We need to find the acceleration due to gravity on that planet. Weight of an object is given by :

W=mg

g is the acceleration due to gravity

g=(W)/(m)

g=(18)/(2)

g=9\ m/s^2

So, the acceleration due to gravity on that planet is
9\ m/s^2. Hence, this is the required solution.
