Sally can paint a room in 6 hours while it takes Steve 7 hours to paint the same room. How long would it take them to paint the room if they worked together?

 Since Sally takes 6 hours and Steve takes 7 hours  you would add so 6+7=13 then you would divide by half  so 13/2 and 13 divided by 2 is 6.5 so the answer is 6.5
