If 5x=20 then you would do the division property of equality first then it would be simplified x=4.

The Division property of equality is dividing both sides of an equation by the same non zero number does not change the equation.
a/ c= b/ c, for
c\\eq 0.

First you divide by 5 from both sides.

(5x)/(5)=(20)/(5)=4

Then, simplify.

\boxed{X=4}

Hope this helps you!

Have a nice day! :)
