Answer:

The graph is a straight line.

The line does not pass through the origin.

The y-intercept of the line is 2.

Explanation:

Given equation,

y=-(1)/(2)x+2

Since, the function in the form of y = mx + c represents a straight line, Where m = slope of the line,

Thus,
y=-(1)/(2)x+2 is the straight line,

Its slope is
-(1)/(2)

Also, for (0, 0),

0=-(1)/(2)(0) + 2 ( False )

i.e. the line does not pass through the origin.

For y-intercept,

x = 0,

\implies y = -(1)/(2)(0) + 2\implies y = 2

i.e. y-intercept of the line is 2.

y = -12x + 2

The graph is a straight line....true, it is linear
The line does not pass thru the origin (0,0).....true, it does not
The line passes thru the point (0,-2)...false, it does not
The y int of the line is 2......true, it is
