Ryan had some candy to give to his five children. He took three pieces for himself and then evenly divided the rest among his children. Each child received two pieces. With how many did he start?

Answer:

he had 13 peices of candy

Explanation:

if he has 3 pieces for himself and 2 for each kid and he has 5 kids then you would just multiply 2 and 5 then add 3

the equation is (2 times 5)+3
