What is the elimination of 2a+3b=12 and 5a-b=13

2a plus 3b =12

5a minus 1b =13 multiply this by -3 to match 3b in equation 1

2a plus 3b =12

-15 plus 3b =-36

plus 15 plus 15

3b= -21

divide by 3 on both sides

b= -7
