32 + 20 = 52 = 4(8+5) = 4(13)
18 + 27 = 45 = 9(2+3) = 9(5)

Answer:

(6) 4*13

(7) 9*5

Explanation:

In both cases you have to express the terms in the addition as a multiplication which includes the greatest common factor. The GCF between 32 and 20 is 4 (because 32 can be divided by 2, 4, 8 and 16, and 20 can be divided by 2, 4, 5 and 10) and between 18 and 27 is 9 (because 18 can be divided by 2, 3, 6 and 9, and 27 can be divided by 3 and 9)

(6)

32 + 20 = (4*8) + (4*5) = 4*(8 + 5) = 4*13

(7)

18 + 27 = (2*9) + (3*9) = 9*(2 + 3) = 9*5
