f ( x ) = 2 x
g ( x ) = f ( x ) - 4
g ( x ) = 2 x - 4
These functions are both linear. The slope of f ( x ) and g ( x ) are same:
m = 2
The graph of f ( x ) and the graph of g ( x ) are parallel.
