Price per pound = 3.86
A cost 3.86 weighs 1 pound
A cost of1 will weigh: (1/3.86) pound
Cost of 6.98 will weigh: (1/3.86)*6.98
= 6.98/3.86 = 1.8083
So a cost of 6.98 weighs ≈ 1.81 pounds, to the nearest hundredth
I hope this helps.

Price of whole beef= 6.98
Price of one pound= 3.86
Total pounds in that beef= 6.98/3.86
=
1.808 pounds
so approximately it contains 1.81 pounds or 2 pounds of beef
