This is the associative property of addition because the grouping of addends does not change the some no matter where you place the numbers in the parenthesis.

Answer:

Associative property

Explanation:

According to the associative property, when the order of numbers are changed , the result remains same.

The mathematical operation, addition obeys the associative law. This is called associative law under addition.

(A + B) + C = A + (B + C)

Here,

Left hand side:

(25 + 84) + 16 = 109 + 16 = 125

Right hand side:

25 + (84 + 16) = 25 + 100 = 125
