The complement of an angle measures 37° what is the measure of the angle

The key word in the question is complement. Complementary angles add to give 90°

if the unknown angle = y
then y° + 37° = 90°
=> ∴ y° = 90° - 3 7°
y = 53°

Thus the angle measures 53°
