when ordering tickets online, a college theater charges a $5 handling fee no matter how large the order. tickets to a comedy concert cost $58 each.if you had to graph the line showing the total cost,y, of buying x tickets, what would the slope of your line be?

Does the question give how many tickets are sold? because the formula for the line should be y=(53/amount of tickets)x+5

The slope would be 58.

Slope = (change in y) / (change in x)

That relationship is established by the fixed cost of each ticket ($58). The handling fee is a constant that would shift the curve upward by $5, but would have no effect on the slope of the line since it is completely independent from the number of tickets being purchased (x).
