The horizontal distance is given by:
x = v*cos(∅) * t
x = 96*cos(45) * t
The maximum height attained is when upwards velocity is 0
v² - u² = 2ah
0 - (v*sin(∅))² = 2 * -9.81* h
h = (96sin(45))²/(2 * 9.81)
h = 235 feet
