Absolute value of 2x+3<5

the absolute value is x<1 because first you subtract 3 from both sides and then divide both side by 2 which gives you the answer.

absolute value means that anything inside the absolute value box will be made positve so

|3-5|=2 because 3-5=-2 but absolute value menas that it is turned positve

if you want to find the solutions to 2x+3<5 then
subtract 3 from both sides
2x<2
divide both sides by 2
x<1
I hope i'm thinking right that the solution must be positive because of abolute value so solution is all number between 0 and 1 not including 0 and 1
