For these problems, you will need to use law of sines.
sin(A)/a =sin(B)/b
For example, number 2:
sin(30)/35 = sin(180-30-52)/b
Plug the sines into a calculator(make sure you are using degrees) and cross multiply to solve for b.
3 is the same setup:
sin(34)/13 = sin(180-34-67)/j
However, you need to do it twice in problems 1 and 4
1
sin(90)/28 = sin(43)/l
Find l, then do
sin(58)/l= sin(180-90-58)/m
to find m.
4:
sin(90)/10 = sin(69)/l
Find this l, then,
sin(180-90-46)/l=sin(46)/d
For 5 and 6, use the same methodology to find the other side lengths.
5:
sin(180-90-47)/38=sin(47)/l
then
sin(32)/l = sin(180-32-90/)x
then to find the area, we do 1/2*b*h, or
1/2*(x+36)*l
6:
sin(45)/24=sin(180-45-90)/l
then
sin(49)/l = sin(180-49-90/)x
then to find the area, we do 1/2*b*h, or
1/2*(x+24)*l
