$= 3 (3)/(8) + 2 (1)/(4) \\$

$= (3 * 8 + 3)/(8) + (2 * 4 + 1)/(4) \\$

$= (27)/(8) + (9)/(4) \\$

$= (27)/(8) * (1)/(1) + (9)/(4) * (2)/(2) \\$
