A parallalelogram has its opposite sides with the same length, therefore we can use this fact to determine p:


\begin{gathered} p=3p-32 \\ 6p-87=2p-23 \end{gathered}

We can solve either equations to find p.


\begin{gathered} -3p+p=-32 \\ -2p=-32 \\ p=16 \end{gathered}

Therefore the value of p must be equal to 16
