we have

h(x)=3x+1 --------> equation
1

we know that

To find the value of
h(-2) substitute the value of
x=-2 in the equation
1

so

For
x=-2

h(-2)=3*(-2)+1

h(-2)=-6+1

h(-2)=-5

therefore

the answer is

h(-2)=-5
