so x stands for the number of hrs after 5 a.m.......8 a.m. is 3 hrs after 5 a.m., so we sub in 3 for x
y = - 5.131(3^2) + 31.821(3) - 3.333
y = -5.131(9) + 95.463 - 3.333
y = -46.179 + 92.13
y = 45.951 rounds to 46.....ur best estimate
