"I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become." -Carl Jung

Many of us go through unthinkable things in life. For some, those things will determine who we become. For others, we choose to become more than what happened to us. Which do you choose? Do you identify yourself with your past, or do you identify yourself with who you aspire to be regardless of the things you've been through? Explain.

I choose of who we become. I identify myself with who I aspire to be regardless of the things I've been through because of who I'll be. I can choose and not let things get carried away when something has happened to me.
