(A) Parallel lines are never intersected

They are move with the same distance between each other

In the figure lines p and l are intersected, so

l and p are not parallel

If you extend lines l and m will intersect

l and m are not parallel

Lines l and k move together with the same distance between them

Then they are never intersect

So lines l and k are parallel

l // k

They are parallel because they never intersect

b)

To obtain line k from line l

Translate line l to up to get line k

c)

To obtain line p from line l

Rotate line l 90 degrees anticlockwise (or clockwise) to get line p
