the GFC is the greatest common factor that could have been distributed from the numbers times there remaining factors that are left:
N + N = SUM
SUM = GFC(N + N) = GFC(SUM)

Answer:

1.

Explanation:

We are asked to determine the GCF of the numbers in the other sum.

Since we have already factored out the GCF from initial or starting numbers, then the sum of other numbers will share no common factor other than 1.

For example let us take two numbers 15 and 25.

Sum of 15 and 25:
15+25

We know the greatest common factor of 15 and 25 is 5.

Factor out 5 from the sum:
5(3+5)

Now, we can see that the greatest common factor of 3 and 5 is 1.

Therefore, the GCF of the numbers in the other sum would be 1.
