First I would multiply 15×12 to get 180 then I would do 1 divided by 3 × 12 which is 4 now I would then add the two sums to get 184

Answer: 184 hours

Explanation:

Given: The amount of spent by Ralph in playing tennis in one month =
15(1)/(3)=(46)/(3)\text{ hours}

To find : The number of hours he plays tennis in a year.

We know that 1 year = 12 months

Therefore, by unitary method, the number of hours he play tennis in 12 months

=
12*(46)/(3)=184\text{ hours}

Hence, he plays tennis 184 hours in a year.
