a recent census listed the population of a city as 831,982. marisol rounds the population to 830,000, and lindy rounds the population to 800,000. PARTE A who rounded the population of the city correctly? explain. PARTE B which rounded population is a more accurate estimate?.

In my opinion, Marisol would be the correct answer for both A and B. I think, though, that the expected answer would be Lindy for A. I say this because with simple numbers such as 10 or 20, if it's 15+ you'd round it to 20, but if it was 14- you'd round it to 10. Does that makes sense?
