To answer this you'll want to find the average between 1995 and 1997
3010-2470=540
Then we'll divide by 2 since it is over the course of two years. 540/2=270
So the correct answer is A

Answer:

Option: A is the correct answer.

A. $ 270 per year.

Explanation:

The average annual increase between 1995 and 1997 is calculated as:

The ratio of Change in the charitable contribution in these years to the change in the number of years.

The difference in the charitable contribution is given as:

$ 3010-$ 2470

=$ 540.

Also the change in the number of years between 1995 and 1997 is:

1997-1995

=2 years.

Hence, the average annual increase is:

540/2=$ 270 per year.

Hence, option A is correct.

A. $ 270 per year.
