Okay so this is a multiplication problem, so we need to multiply the numerators and denominators of the fractions to get the product.

The fraction 12/28 is not in lowest terms, so we need to reduce it. List the factors of the numerator and denominator:Factors of
12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12
Factors of
28: 1, 2, 4, 7, 14, 28
4 is the largest factor of both 12 and 28, so we need to divide both the numerator and denominator by 4.Numerator: 12 ÷ 4 = 3Denominator: 28 ÷ 4 = 7Write the new fraction:
