Indentured servants willingly entered an agreement to work until they had paid off their debt to society, where when they are finally released, they are guaranteed land. However, slaves had no choice in the matter and worked until they died or were sold to another slave owner (they both aren't paid for their work though). Hope this helps!

Indentured servants agreed to work for no money in exchange for land and tools after a certain period of time while slaves were forced to work indefinitely.
