Brandon has a budget of $58 to spend on clothes. The shirts he want to buy are on sale $9 each, and a pair of pants he wants cost $21. All prices includes tax. Which inequality could be used to determine the maximum number of shirts Brandon can buy if he also buys the pair of pants

You would add $21 dollars plus 4 shirts which are $9 so that all equals to $56 so that's about all the clothes he could buy because tax and he only has $2 left so he really cant buy any more clothes than he already has !

58 ≤ ($9 + t ) + ($21 + t )

so, n ≤ ($58 + t ) + ($21 + t )
