x intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y=0
the y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x=0

xintercpet
set y=0 and solve for x
0=-2x-3
add 3 to both sides
3=-2x
divide both sides by -2
-3/2=x
the point is (-3/2,0)

yint
set x=0
y=-2(0)-3
y=-3
the point is (0,-3)

xint=(-3/2,0)
yint=(0,-3)
