First, how many periods of 6 hours are in 24 hours? 24 / 6 = 4.
So every 6 hours, Katie needs 2.5 drops.
Seeing as there are 4 periods of 6 hours in 24 hours, you would do 2.5 x 4.
Katie will receive 10 drops of medication in 24 hours.
