I know that seems odd because one of them were actually official states until the early 1800s, but let me explain. The French and Indian War ended in 1763, 22 years before the Land Ordinance of 1785. That doesn't mean that C isn't the answer though, here's how you can logic out that B is right. The revolutionary war was right in between these 2 events, it ended only 2 years before the Land Ordinance of 1785. Those of you looking at this question are probably taking the exact same quiz. If you think back to your lessons it says specifically that Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin were formed. Hope this helps those of you who see this!
