what would happen to an enzyme if the temperature and pH changed significantly beyond the enzyme`s optimum level?

For temperature, the reaction will slow down and eventually stop. Above 40 degrees the enzyme will denature. For the pH, amino acids' component atoms and molecules will begin to ionise. Due to this the enzyme will then change shape.
