Recurring floods Earthquakes and tectonic uplifts caused many crops that previously relied on by the civilizations as their main source of income become obsolete.

Because of this, the people from the river valley civilizations keep trying to figure out a way to still obtaining resources despite the occurrence of these natural disaster. In the long run, this effort lead to the creation of technologies that brought society to the industrial age.
