I GOTCHU. ok soOO before the renaissance art was basically focused on god & religion. it changed and people started focusing on real life & the common people. perspective was a whole new thing & depth started being added to art works instead of "oh hey let's doodle this super flat pic of jesus" they were like "aye lets go into depth but focus on the people and the new age". LITERATURE. Shakespeare created the vernacular (breaking down language/ created a new every day language the common people could understand) which lead to bibles being printed & mass produced for the common people to read & obtain & understand instead of the pope & church officials feeding it to them
