Assuming the radical between 6b and 7 to be +.
6-4(6b + 7) >122
6 - 4*6b - 4*7 > 122
6 - 24b - 28 > 122
-24b > 122 + 28 - 6
-24b > 144 When you divide by a -ve number the inequality sign reverses
b < 144/-24
b < -6
