multiply 28 times .50
it should give you 14 and add that to the total which is
42

50% is the same as 0.5.
So, multiply 28 members by 0.5.
28*0.5 = 14.
Since this problem says it is an INCREASE of 50% we ADD that amount to the original amount.
28 + 14 =
