Odors are detected by the ______membrane in each nostril?

Odors detected by sites on receptor neurons in the olfactory membrane high in each nostril. Receptor neurons fire when a few molecules if the substance in gas form contact them. The firing transmits info about odors to the brain via the olfactory nerve.

I believe the membrane that detects odors is called the olfactory membrane.
