Harriet Tubman was a slave, when she crossed the border she felt like a different person in many ways. You can say in your own words, she felt "freedom". Slavery is a pretty big topic, in high school you should know how they were viewed and treated. by Southerners and Northerners. Just a quick tip, Harriet Tubman was from the South and escaped to the North.
