whole circle is 2pi radians

so you should multiply πr² by Θ/(2pi)

yeilding

2Θr^2

anyway, multiply is by
Θ/(2pi)

Answer:

(\theta)/(2\pi)

Explanation:

We will use below points to find the area of the sector;-

  • The angle traced in a full rotation is 2π
  • The area of a circle is
    A=\pi r^2

The central angle is given by Θ. Hence, we have to multiply the area of the circle by a factor
(\theta)/(2\pi)

Hence, the area of a sector is given by

A=(\theta)/(2\pi)\cdot\pi r^2

Therefore, we have to multiply
(\theta)/(2\pi)
