The question is asking what negative 2 minus negative 6 is.

-2 -(-6)=4

Simple....

alright...so remember your rules.... a negative subtracted by a negative in parentheses changes it into a positive....

this being said...

-2-(-6)

Changes into-->>

-2+(+6)

4

Thus, your answer.
