The Line of sight is the line with red color.


\begin{gathered} \sin 18^0=(500)/(x) \\ \\ \Rightarrow x=(500)/(\sin 18^0) \\ \\ \Rightarrow x=1618.03m \end{gathered}

Hence the line of sight distance is about 1600
