16 candles because 14 divided by 7 is 2 so you do 2 times 8 and that equals 16

15. because 8 multiplied by 14 is 112. she uses 7 ounces which now she has 105 ounces left. so now since one candle is 7 ounces you divide 105 by 7 and the answer is 15.
