STRONG is an acronym that describes six steps to this decision making process. These steps are as follows.
S-State the issue (state the main question or decision you will be dealing with.)
T-Think about options (think about all the possible options that you could choose from in regards to your decision.)
R-Rate consequences (think about the pros and cons that will be present with each option.)
O-Organize thoughts (view all options under the sense of yor pros and cons and start to organize them.)
N-Narrow possibilities (narrow down the possibilities of the decision you are going to choose.
G-Go over you decision (review your narrowed down options and finally make a decision.)
