This is true, your first several months in the world is when your body is quickly adapting to the world around you. You are just beginning to use motor and social skills and your brain begins to connect consequences for you. You begin to notice patterns, speech, and movement making this developmental stage way more rapid than in later childhood where more cognitive development comes to play.
