B) 30inches= 2ft 6inc 2ft= 24inches(1ft=12in) Then, the ratio is 5:4

First we need to convert foot to inches.
1 ft = 12 inches
That means that our proportion looks like:
30/24
we can divide both by 6 and we get
5/4
That means the answer is B)
