The height of the kite is 45.90 m

Here, we want to find the height of the kite

We have the diagram of the scenario as follows;

Here, to get the height h, we use the appropriate trigonometric identity

The kite length faces the right angle and that makes it the hypotenuse

The height of the kite h faces the angle given and that makes it the opposite

The triginometric ratio that links both is the sine

The sine is the ratio of the opposite h to the hypotenuse 80

Thus, we have it that;

\begin{gathered} \sin e\text{ 35 = }(h)/(80) \\ \\ h\text{ = 80}*\text{ sin 35} \\ h\text{ =45.90 m} \end{gathered}

A kite is flying at an angle of elevation of about 35 degrees all 80 meters of string-example-1
