You can find this by multiplying the price of the pan (32) by the discount (15) and divide by 100.

32x15= ____ divided by 100 = _____

Take the answer and subtract is by it's original price.

____ divided by 32 dollars

Tell me what you got, and I will tell you if it's right :)

The formula for doing this is 'is/of=%/100.'
We can plug this in and get n/32=15/100, because in the word problem, there is an 'of' before 32. That could be determined to know which side it goes.
We can cross multiply.
100n=32*15
100n=480
100n/100=480/100
n=4.8.
But that is not the final answer. Now we need to subtract 4.8 from 32.
When we subtract, it will be 27.2.

The final answer is that the pan will be $27.20 after the 15% discount.
