You have to do 16 x 5 ( denominator ) which is 80. 80 is when it is full.
SO... you have to half that giving you 40. The answer is
40

16*5 = 80, that's how many litres when it's full
80/2 = 40, that's how many litres when it's half full
It will hold
40 litres
